Got to say I LOVE a local festival... I'm talking the smaller but perfectly formed ones. The ones that don't cost the earth. The one or two-dayers that remind you what it's like to get your wellies on, dance in a field or a pub garden with your friends, and remember how good life can be!
Well, App-Fest Somerset is set to be one such occasion. It's over the weekend of June 8th and 9th at the The Blue Bowl Inn in West Harptree, the Wurzels are playing the Sunday, Starsailor are headlining the Saturday, and there'll be a chance to see the one and only Chesney Hawkes too! (see what I did there?) ;)
There's loads more music, great food and drink, family entertainment, and you can even take your dog along. I kid you not! It's a bit too soon for Iz Whizz to come with me this time, but who knows in the future?
