Guess what? It's our Somerset cool birthday and to celebrate the blog being one year old, we've decided to do one thing a little bit differently for the first few months of the year... and we need your help! :)
If you've taken a photo that you think shows how cool Somerset is - whether it's a beautiful landscape or sunset, a funny moment you've captured just at the perfect time, or a random Somerset snap you personally love - tweet it to us @somersetcool or post it on Instagram and tag us, or email it to us at hello@somersetcool.com.
It can be an old picture, a recent one, or you might've just taken the perfect photo today!
Anyway, we'll share some of the best ones and put up one brilliant 'picture of the week' every Monday on the homepage of this site. Then in May, to coincide with Somerset Day on May 11th, we'll blog about your pictures - about the people who've contributed the pictures of the week and the stories behind the photos. We'll celebrate the cool pictures we've received of our beautiful county and mark our first year of blogging in photographic style!
So... whether you're young, old, a new photo-taking addict, or an out and out professional, we want your photos and can't wait to start putting up your 'picture of the week' from now until Somerest Day. Woo hoo!
